Innovation and development
The sole proprietorship Nitronic was converted into the corporation Nitronic AG in 2008. Additionally, we have relocated to our current location at Mattenstrasse.
In 2005, Nitronic introduced the highly precise hand-held wire stripping device MiniStrip, which was the first product sold through its own distribution network. This was followed by the machines ST215, ST730 and ST730T. Today, Nitronic has an extensive global distribution and service network.
An important addition to the cable business occurred in 2004 with the development of the innovative hardness testing device HRC3070. The innovative design and measurement technology enabled the first revolutionary and cost-effective hardness testing device to be built in the size of a pen. It is the most compact hardness testing device worldwide!
The entry into the cable processing machine business occurred in 1984 through collaboration with Stepan Engineering. This partnership led to the creation of the world's first coaxial cable stripping machine, the CO207. Further world-first innovations followed, setting a new standard in cable processing:
- Coax strippers: CO207, CO8015, HC207, MP257, MC252, MP8015
- Fiber optic strippers: FO7045, FS7030, FS7035
- Semi-Rigid stripping machine: SR1000
Nitronic was founded in 1977 in Nidau, Switzerland. In the first 10 years, the company manufactured various electronic components and devices for nuclear research and sports medicine.
